Great Scotland Yard is sold for £110m to Indian billionaire Yusuffali Kader...

Property giant Galliard Homes is turning the grade II building into a £10,000-a-night luxury hotel. Once complete in 2017, Kader’s Abu-Dhabi-based conglomerate Lulu Group will take over the building. The building served as the Metropolitan Police HQ for 61 years. It’s also been used as headquarters for the British Army, Recruitment Office and Royal Military Police, and the Ministry of Defence Library.
